ActiveCollab Additions: Streamlined Interface and Handy Shortcuts
ActiveCollab Additions is a free Chrome add-on developed by DRM Productions. It provides a streamlined interface for tracking, editing, and submitting time to your ActiveCollab site. With this add-on, you can start, stop, and pause timers directly from your my work, project pages, or task pages.
One of the key features of ActiveCollab Additions is the ability to set defaults for your timers, such as default Job Type, Minimum time entry, rounding interval, color scheme, style, and blurring overlays. This allows you to customize the add-on according to your preferences and workflow requirements.
In addition to the timer functionality, there are several handy shortcuts available. For example, you can now change members in a project directly on the task page, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple pages. Another useful feature is the ability to assign a task a job type without assigning a time estimate, which can be helpful when you don't have a time estimate available yet.
ActiveCollab Additions has been tested against ActiveCollab versionand is expected to work in all versions 7 and beyond. The code for this extension is available on GitHub for those interested in exploring or contributing to its development.
